San Francisco-born singer-songwriter, Spencer Barnett returns today in true style with his indie and psychedelia-infused track, "Chocolate Pretzels." Spencer has a unique ability to pull listeners into his cinematic world. Listening to "Chocolate Pretzels" while walking through the chaotic streets of East London felt like stepping into a coming-of-age indie film. The emotionally charged lyrics, paired with dreamy indie instrumentals, created a cinematic world where, for a moment, I expected the world to slow down around me—though, of course, the city carried on at its usual pace and I was brought back to reality by a bloke shouting at a pigeon.
This track is just a teaser for what’s to come, as Barnett's highly anticipated EP, "Jigsaw," is set to drop on October 25th. With infectious tracks like "Lost Boy" already keeping us hooked, we predict the upcoming EP will be just as addictive.
