London-based, multi-talented musician, songwriter, music producer, in-demand DJ, and Grammy Recording Academy member Paris Cesvette unveils her epic second album, As Above, So Below, released through DJ Spen’s Quantize Recordings. This ambitious project brings together a constellation of revered artists, featuring powerful vocals from international talents like Sabrina Chyld, Mr. V, Frank McComb, Will Downing, Rona Ray, Tracy Hamlin, Hannah Khemoh, C Robert Walker, Kenny Bobien, Gershon Jackson, Lejuan, Michelle Weeks, and Scott Paynter. Speaking about the album, Paris explains, “As Above, So Below is the second songbook from my heart to yours. As a music producer, I am always creating. The idea behind these albums is my stop-gap — where I align the artists I’m producing for at the time and showcase them through my ears, my heart, and my mind. My mission with this album is to further the boundaries of soulful, R&B, and jazz-infused house music. I aim to lead a new generation of house music maestros, inviting everyone to love and learn the reimagined sounds of house music, from its '80s roots to today.”
Paris opens the album with an atmospheric intro, "Above So Below," setting the scene for the spiritual journey ahead. In her soothing, almost therapeutic voice, she intones, “The only thing we do know is we know absolutely nothing,” preparing listeners for an album that bridges worlds of emotion, belief, and connection.
