Just in time for autumn, American performance footwear leader KEEN introduces their latest innovation, the Jasper Zionic — a dynamic sneaker that combines cutting-edge outdoor functionality with versatile style.
Inspired by climbing culture, the Jasper Zionic merges the swift-hiking capabilities of the Zionic with the timeless look and all-around practicality of the Jasper. Whether conquering a climbing route, traveling, or tackling everyday adventures, this hybrid sneaker is designed for seamless transitions between town, trail, and beyond.
Since its July 2023 debut, the Zionic hiker quickly became a bestseller, celebrated for its lightweight, responsive design that maximises speed, stability, and comfort. The Jasper Zionic builds on this success by highlighting the climbing heritage of the Jasper, with its distinctive tongue-to-toe lacing system. KEEN even drew inspiration from the 2008 Carver climbing shoe — an earlier bestseller — and included nostalgic design elements, like the signature flower on the heel, as a nod to the Jasper's roots. By blending the best features of both the Jasper and Zionic, KEEN has crafted a shoe built for the fast-paced, active lifestyle of today’s outdoor enthusiasts.
Key features of the Jasper Zionic include a high-traction rubber outsole with an aggressive lug pattern for enhanced grip and smooth heel-to-toe movement. The sneaker also features an athletic, contoured fit, secured by its tongue-to-toe lacing, and a heel crash pad that absorbs impact for all-day comfort.
