Born in Los Angeles to a family of artists, singer-songwriter Claire Brooks was destined for a creative path. From an early age, her world was filled with imagination- her mum's paint brushes became her toys, and her dad spun imaginative tales for her and her brother every night. Among her various creative pursuits- sketching, sewing, and a love for mathematics- it was music that ultimately captured her heart.
Today, Friday, 16th August, this emerging talent returns with a bang, unveiling her brand-new single, "GO(RILLA)," a track that defies genre boundaries and showcases her unique sound. Blending psychedelic indie-pop, R&B vocals, rap, and a dash of jazzy flair, the track is punchy, atmospheric, and grungy, offering a slick yet distinct sound that’s unmistakably hers.
