While fashion can serve as an armour of confidence for many, it often acts as a portal for escapism, self-expression, and self-discovery. This is precisely what creative director, stylist and designer Emolsa Haasach aimed to depict in collaboration with photographer Alexe Bec for "Anomaly." Haasach explains: "It is through these explorations that most alter-egos are birthed, allowing individuals to embrace their new selves as they discover, experiment, and step into this fashion anomaly. This process begins from the moment we discreetly raid our family members' wardrobes, trying on all sorts of attire we might find. As we don different fashion styles—from uniforms to suits and ties, or even intergalactic outfits—we learn to embrace what we see through the looking glass. As our appearance transforms, our minds are transported into the state of our new being."

This editorial illustrates how, every day, we step into and shift through various fashion anomalies. These experiences can be liberating or daunting, glamorous or bizarre, clear or confused. But one thing is certain: everyone has encountered some form of fashion anomaly. The power of these anomalies can instill the confidence to wear anything and fuel creativity among the fashion-forward.
